Remedies for Dizziness

Dizziness is the lightheadedness, fatigue, weakness and the feeling of faintness. It may be due to the drop of blood pressure that causes damage to the brain.

Cardiac problems, inner ear inflammation, certain medication, diseases affecting the brain etc may also leads to dizziness. Diabetes is also a reason for dizziness. There are medical treatment that you have to follow when dizziness is coupled with high fever, speaking disability and difficulty in walking. Otherwise you can take care of your health own your own. .

Home Remedies for Dizziness

Liquid

If you have symptoms of dizziness then you have to take proper rest and drink enough water and juices. Also try to avoid soft drinks available in the market. Also you need to include fruits and vegetables to your regular diet.

Almond and Pumpkin Seeds

Soak one tablespoon poppy seeds, two tablespoon wheat grains, 10 each of pumpkin seeds and almond seeds in water for the entire night and then grind them to paste in the next morning. Now add two cloves and one tablespoon ghee to this paste and mix it with one cup milk and boil. If patient prefers sugar can also be added. In few days your dizziness will vanish.

Salt and Mustard

Take equal quantities of vinegar, salt, mustard and pepper and mix it with a cup of water. Drink the entire mixture and this will aid in improving the blood circulation and thus makes you steady.

Indian Gooseberry and Coriander Seeds

Take about five grams of Indian gooseberry fruit or powdered fruit and soak it in one cup water along with coriander seeds. Next day morning strain the liquid and then drink it. Being rich in vitamin C and A, Indian gooseberry can take care of your troubled stomach, nausea and will also bring down your dizziness.

Exercise

Certain exercise can help you to treat dizziness. Move your eyeballs in all directions and blink your eyes quickly. Move your neck in clock wise and anti-clock wise directions. Stand and sit continuously for some time and walk with your eyes opened and closed. Stare at a spot and walk through a steep surface. Repeat these exercises daily for at least three times and this will help you to get rid of dizziness.
