Remedies for Heel Spur
Heel spur is the pain in the heels caused by a growth in the heel bone. Excessive pressure, stretch and strain on the heels cause inflammation to the tissues that runs from the heel bone through the arch of the foot to the forefoot. This tissue is called plantar fascia and the continuous inflammation on the plantar fascia causes the outgrowth of the heel bone and it forms a hook like protrusion from the heel bone.
This extended bone may cause injury to the surrounding, tissues, ligaments, tendons etc. and there by result in inflammation to those tissues. All these may cause sever pain, swelling, tenderness etc on the heels and foot. The pain will be more sever during the morning hours when you wake up from the bed and will decrease during the day.
