Remedies for Tapeworm Infestation

Tapeworm is an intestinal parasite found inside the human being. They are flat worms that can live inside the human intestine by consuming the nutrients present in the intestine.

They may grow up to 35 to 50 feet length and can live up to 20 years happily inside the human intestine. Sometimes they may pass out along with the stool.

Causes of Infection

Tapeworm infestation occurs by the consumption of food and water which is contaminated with stool of human being. The eggs of tapeworm will be present in this and they may reach intestine and grows to become adult.

Consumption of raw or undercooked beef, pork or fish paved the way for the entry of tapeworm larvae in to the intestine. Working with the contaminated soil may also leads to infestation of tapeworm eggs. Even raw vegetables cause the infestation.

Symptoms of Tapeworm Infestation

The symptoms are not visual during the early period of infestation. In most of the cases the tapeworms are seen in stool. While in others it produces some symptoms like loss of appetite, vomiting, dizziness, weight loss etc. Sometimes it may cause abdominal pain.

Home Remedies for Tapeworm Infestation

Carrot

Include more carrot in your diet and it is found that grated or chopped carrots are helpful in removing the worms.

Coconut Milk

Extract the milk from the grate of half coconut and consume this milk daily two times. Repeat this process up to one month and you will be benefited. Most probably tapeworm may get expelled with in 15 to 25 days.

Milk Bath

Fill your bath tub with milk and sit in this milk tub for sometime. This will cause the tapeworm inside your intestine to move towards the milk as the smell of the milk attracts the tapeworm. As soon as the worm falls in to the milk it will drown and die.

Diet

Enrich your diet with garlic and clove which are found be beneficial for treating parasites in the intestine. Pumpkin seeds are also ideal for treating tapeworm infestation. Try to cook your food well in order to kill the worms.
