Remedy for Sagging Breast
July 17, 2009
Sagging breast is a problem that many women encounter. Frequently, women tend to link sagging breast with pregnancy. During this period as the breast becomes fuller, the ligaments supporting the breasts become stretched.
This produces sagging breasts. However, breast-feeding is in no way responsible for sagging breasts. Sagging breast is primarily a problem that women with large breasts experience after pregnancy.
Loss in elasticity of the skin can also develop sagging breasts. Smoking, aging, menopause, obesity and rapid weight loss could damage the elasticity of the skin.

Exercises
Certain exercises could make the sagging breast firm. Soft connective tissues hold together the milk ducts, fat cells and glands present in the breast. Breasts are devoid of muscles.
Exercises cannot reduce the size of the breast, but they can tighten and tone the breasts. Swimming is a good remedy for sagging breasts. While swimming, wear a swimming suit with bra support.
To tighten your sagging breasts, press your palms together at the middle of your chest, and inhale and exhale slowly. Do this exercise regularly for about fifteen minutes.
Stand straight and raise your right arm above your head. Now slowly move your right hand in a circle five times. Repeat this exercise with your left hand. Push-ups are also beneficial for sagging breasts. Exercising with weight also helps to tone your muscles. You can use weights between 2 and 6 pounds. Remember to wear a support bra while exercising.
Nourishment
Include vitamin C rich fruits in your diet. Vitamin C is needed for manufacturing collagen, which is needed to keep our skin tight and elastic. You can also massage your breasts with flex seed oil.
Mastoplexy
If you cannot tighten your sagging breasts naturally, you can opt for mastoplexy. In mastoplexy, which is popularly known as breast lift, some tissues and skin from the lower part of the breast is removed and the nipple, breast tissues and the areola are pushed up.
However, breast lift leads to scarring. Other side effects of the surgery include uneven position of nipples, inability to breastfeed and numbness of the breasts.
