Fasting on Fruit Juice
During the first three days the patient is asked to follow a fruit juice diet in which you can choose any of the three fruits like orange, lemonade or grape. Dilute the juice with warm water and drink as much juice as you can in between 8 o’clock in the morning to 8 o’clock in the night. You are not supposed to take anything else during this period. This may help you to clean the entire body. You are recommended to take a warm water enema during these three days fast.
All fruit Diet
If you have acute rheumatism then follow a restricted diet and if it’s chronic rheumatism then you need to follow all fruit diet for five days. In all fruit diet you can take three meals of fresh fruits a day. The fruits that are recommended for this purpose are oranges, apples, peaches, grapes, pears, pineapple etc.
The first thing you need to do after waking up is to drink a glass of tepid water mixed with one teaspoon honey and the juice taken from half of a lemon.
For breakfast you can take a glass of milk mixed with honey along with fresh fruits, nuts, seeds etc.
At the time of lunch have a glass of buttermilk, a bowl of steamed vegetables along with three whole wheat tortillas.
During the middle of afternoon take a glass of fresh vegetable or fruit juice
Limit your dinner to sprouts and raw vegetables mixed with lime juice dressing.
If you can take raw vegetable juices like carrot juice, beet juice and cucumber juice then it is highly beneficial. While doing this you need to avoid certain foods like fish, meat, white bread, refined cereals, sugar, tea, alcohol, coffee, condiments, pickle, seasoned foods etc.
