We use various expensive skin care products to improve the health of our skins. But not many of us are aware that the inexpensive table salt can do wonders to our skin. Perhaps you have noticed, that after returning from a beach vacation, despite the tan, your skin sparkles with health. Saline water is good for the health of your skin.

Cures dry itchy skin

If you are suffering from dry and itchy skin problem bath in saline water. Add a cup of salt to your bathtub and fill it with water. Now relax in your bathtub for about fifteen minutes to recover the lost health of your skin.

Skin exfoliation

Dead cells, which accumulate on the surface of our skin, make it look dull and dry. Salt can be used for exfoliation or removal of dead cells. Before using salt for exfoliation, first splash water all over your body and face. Now take a handful of salt and rub it all over our body and face. Lightly massage your face in small upward circular strokes. After about five minutes, take a refreshing bath. You will discover a glowing skin.

You can also use salt as a face cleanser. Make a paste by blending a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of almond or olive oil. Apply it all over your face and throat in gentle upward strokes. Leave the paste on your face for about ten minutes. Now wash your face with mild soap to remove all traces of the paste from your face. Your dry skin will start glowing after applying this mask.
