Simple Remedies for Youthful Skin
We all like to experiment with things we find in our house. Making packs with fruit peels, vegetable juices, and other condiments. This is actually an exercise that can be quite fruitful if undertaken carefully. Here are some very useful remedies for the face and skin to try using things found in your kitchen.
Home made juices using neem and other herbs help detoxify the body and keep the skin looking younger and clearer. They also help clear scars and blemishes on the face.
Honey and grated carrots make a good face pack as it not only moisturises the face, but also helps tighten the skin.
Oats can be used to clear the face as an exfoliant. When mixed with milk, it also makes for a very good moisturiser.
Fresh cream and milk can be used as a moisturiser once the face has been washed well. Not only is it completely natural, but helps keep the face feeling supple and hydrated for longer.
A mixture of egg yolk, lemon and rose water is a good pack for the face and helps keep it feeling young and fresh. This can be used every few days and helps the skin look younger.
A mixture of milk and salt is a very good exfoliator. Using cold milk also helps the skin feel fresh and stimulates circulation of the blood on the face. The milk also helps soothe the skin greatly.
A combination of curd and fresh cream acts as a very good astringent for the face. The combination of the two ingredients helps clean the face while keeping it from becoming dry at all times.
Lemon is a good bleach and helps lighten the face. It is very useful in removing the unwanted tan on the face too. Only, care should be taken to ensure not too much is applied, or that it is not left for too long as the skin could start to itch.
Stick to the basics and to nature, and nothing could go wrong. You don’t need to be fancy to get noticed after all.
