Simple Skin Solutions

It is extremely easy to gift yourself great looking skin without having to stack up loads of skin care products and creams at home. Make your household ingredients double up as skin care products, and see what miracles you can achieve.

Use generous amounts of grated cucumber on the face, eyes and neck. This is an excellent cure for blackheads and acne. Cucumber also has the property of hydrating the skin, and also refreshes tires skin well.

Take some pistachios, sandal powder and banana. Soak these in milk for about half an hour and then make a fine paste. Apply this on the face to soothe the skin and make it feel softer.

Dryfruits are another great tonic for the skin. Make a coarse powder with dryfruits you can find. Almonds, pistachios, figs, walnuts, anything. Mix these with honey and use on the face. They make an excellent exfoliant, and also give the skin plenty of nourishment.

A mixture of fresh cream, turmeric and sandal paste is another great pack for the skin. This makes the skin softer and hydrates it better, and the turmeric also helps heal any wounds or scars on the skin.

Fenugreek and curd make a good face pack, and help make the skin fairer. The curd in the pack makes for a good bleach.

Take half a teaspoon of grated white radish, one tablespoon of vinegar, one tablespoon of lemon, add a little honey and store it. Wipe the skin with this liquid regularly. This helps shrink the pores and reduces greasiness of the skin.

Skincare is easy. Once you know the properties of your products, you can experiment with various combinations. Not only will care for yourself become easier, but also more enjoyable.
