Smelly Vaginal Discharge

Smelly Vaginal Discharge

Having vaginal discharge is normal and healthy. It’s a natural mechanism of cleaning the vaginal area. This discharge will moisten your vagina and clear out the dead cells and other harmful microorganisms from the vagina. This fluid discharge in turn is produced by the glands that are present in the cervix. The friendly bacteria which are present in the vagina breaks down the sugars and produce lactic acid which in turn adds acidity to the vaginal discharge. This acidity is responsible for avoiding the infections. The amount of discharge may vary from woman to woman and it will be more during the middle of the menstrual cycle.
