Snacky Treats
In our fight against weight gain we often tend to eat only at meal time. Hunger pangs in between are ignored and we wait till it is time for our meal. The tendency to eat larger meals is natural. Snacking is not a sin. Simple snacks eaten wisely, can appease hunger and also prevent undue weight gain.
POPCORN
Varieties can can be mad ein the microwave should be chose. Look for the kind that is ninety eight percent fat free. If desired, add a dash of margarine to better the taste.
FRUIT AND THEIR PRODUCTS
The most satisfying, healthy snack. It makes for a complete satisfier, and sustainable snack. Try indulging in the smoothie occasionally. The dairy will help keep you going longer.
ICE CREAM
This craving is also not a completely forbidden food. Varieties that are fat and sugar free are easily available today that allow you to eat them without feeling totally guilty.
COOKIES
These are also available free from fat. However, the only drawback is that it is hard to eat only a few and we tend to go overboard. Eat them only rarely and you will not be at great risk.
CHEESE AND CRACKERS
Cheese can be available in low fat varieties easily, which means they are doing little harm .Also, low fat means high levels of protein, which is another plus. Eat low fat, high fibre crackers that will make you feel great, and also do little damage.
CEREALS
Low fat cereals like oatmeal do the least damage. Also stick to those cereals that are low in sugar.
VEGETABLES
These are the best snack. Eat them plain, with dips, low fat sauces or even salad dressings. You are giving your body a blessing.
