Spa at Home
Spas are generally pocket pinching and time consuming. In the fast moving world, it’s difficult to allow excess of both time and money. The best option available is to create a private spa for yourself in your own home with easily available kitchen ingredients – an all natural beauty treatment.
Eating habits have a lot to do with your skin care. Lots of fresh fruits, and vegetables, right amounts of water need to be in taken.
Choosing whole grains, beans, legumes, and nuts, seeds and dried fruits is as good for the exterior of you as it is within.
Reduce on spices and carbohydrates, they add on unwanted calories.
Facial treatment comes next in the spa regime.
Massage your face with few drops of coconut oil, lemon juice and honey for few minutes in circular motion. Apply a paste of besan (chickpea flour) turmeric and milk. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off with cold water. It gives you a soft and fresh looking skin.
Take ½ cup olive oil, ¾ cup fine sea salt and several drops of your favorite essential oil, like lavender, rose or sandalwood. Coalesce on the whole and your body scrub is ready. Add few drops of lemon juice into the water to be used for bathing, and feel the refreshing touch of spa.
A swift scrub with whitening toothpaste and a spongy bristled toothbrush, or a long drench of lemon juice, can bring your nails back to their natural tone.
For your hair a mixture of coconut oil heated with fenugreek seeds, aloevera, dried amla and lots of hibiscus leaves can be left on for an hour or so. Your favorite shampoo can be use for washing it off.
You see spa treatment is actually affordable by each one of us, provided we could allow ourselves a little time every weekend.
