Stopping Hair Fall

October 15, 2008

Hair fall can be very distressing and lead to serious issues in self-confidence. However, there are ways to address hair fall using simple home-made remedies. These are not only easy to use but also very effective. Make a paste of a few hibiscus leaves and use on the affected areas. Wash out completely after some time.

Lettuce leaf paste is also known to be a facilitator to hair growth. A probable reason for the same could be the high content of iron that it contains. Castor oil mixed with almonds can work wonders. Another recommended treatment is the use of boiled sage leaves in coconut oil. Amla, boiled in coconut oil acts as a stimulant to hair growth.

Powdered fenugreek, pepper and coconut milk is another tried and tested treatment for hair loss. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables and salads. Also have more milk, buttermilk, soya, wheatgerm and nuts to stop hair loss.

Massage the scalp gently with coconut oil or almond oil daily for about fifteen minutes. Also stick to the ritual of combing the hair every night. This stimulates the hair glands and fosters growth. Camphor and cologne can also be applied to the hair at bed time and washed out in the morning. This is known to stop hair fall and is a treatment that has been used for many centuries.

The best way to stop hair loss is by disciplining the lifestyle. Get adequate sleep. Eat moderate amounts of food at the right time and keep away from stress and vices like excessive drinking and smoking. This should help stop hair fall immediately.

Stalling hair loss is not so difficult after all. Little attention and few remedies should do the trick. However, should hair fall persist, or should it exceed moderate quantities of hair loss, medical attention should be sought.
