The Sacrificing Tree

October 23, 2008

While we look for fruits and flowers to help improve the condition of our skin, there are also plants, whose every part works as a great boon for the skin. Neem is one such miracle.

Neem leaves should be boiled and drunk every morning. This helps detoxify the body and kill all germs. Often, skin problems arise from impurities in the body. The neem water should care for this easily. The same neem water can also be used to wash the face instead of regular water. The neem will kill any bacteria or germs on the surface. This is very useful for inflammations or even pimples.

Neem leaves even contain medicinal value that is good for the skin. Neem leaves are good in curing chicken pox. The leaves are placed under the bedsheet, and also used to relieve itching. This prevents the formation of scabs and also avoids the leaving of marks on the skin.

Neem leaves can be ground to a paste and mixed with fresh turmeric. This makes for an axcellent tonic when applied to the face as it clears the face of pimples and acne and also reduces scars.

Today there are numerous packs made using neem that help reduce pimples and acne. Capsules containing neem concentrate are also available to help clean the system from within. They also hlp protect the skin from allergies and rashes.

The bark of the neem tree is also useful. Tender bark should be rubbed till a paste is derived. This paste is a very good conditioner for the face. It cools the skin in the summer months, and also cures boils and prickly heat.

The neem tree has dedicated itself to cleaning the environment and us as too. Prudent use of the neem tree can help keep all troubles away.
