The Secret To Fair, Glowing Skin

December 10, 2008

It is a dream to have flawless, fair skin. What we tend to forget is that our own compositions and hereditary factors have a role to play in the texture and complexion that we inherit. Skin regimes and products cannot help whiten the face overnight.

However, external factors sometimes have a role in darkening  the skin, and causing the complexion to suffer. With some regular care, this can be restores to the skin quickly.

The routine requires the use of coarsely ground uncooked rice, tomatoes, cucumber, and carrots.

First, begin by using some raw, cold milk on the face to cleanse it well. Then, make a pulp of the tomatoes, carrots and cucumber, and keep each seperately.

Make a rough paste of the tomato extract and the ground rice, and refigerate for few minutes. Sit in a relaxed postion, and apply this mixture to the face and neck regions generously. The rice acts as an exfoliant and loosens the dry, dead skin well.

Once you have applied the paste, take the carrot extract and use it over the exfoliant. After its application, use the finger tips to massage the face gently using ciruclar movements in an outward, and updard direction. The carrot juice could dry up as you massage, therefore dip the tips of your fingers in water and continue massaging the face. Once this is done, take moist tissue and wipe off the products from the face.

Finally, make a mixture of the extracts of the carrots, cucumber and tomato and use as a face pack on the face and neck. If you feel thatt he back is also exposed to the sun during the day, and has darkened, you may also extend this routine to the back area as well. Keep it on for about twenty minutes, or once it is completely dry and wash off with water. If you feel the face is still sitcky, use a little gram flour on the face and wash off well. Avoid the use of soap and any creams or products for the rest of the day.
