The Three Miracles For Healthy Hair

February 4, 2009

The secret to beautiful hair is not a visit to the best, most posh salon near you. Nor is it in the use of expensive products for the hair. The real secret to beautiful hair lies in keeping it healthy and nourished. Care for the hair is the best way to keep it looking good, and nourished from the inside.

The most frequent treatments we use on the hair include washing, combing or brushing, and oiling the hair.

While washing, make sure you chose a shampoo that is desginated for your hair type. The main function of the shampoo is to clear out the pores, removing sweat, dirt and dust from the follicles and giving the root space to breathe easily and stay cleaner.

If your routine demands it, you may wash the hair even everyday, provided you use products recommended for daily use. Even simple rinsing of the hair using water is sometimes sufficient in removing excess swet from the hair.

Be wary when washing the hair, though. Make sure you are only washing away dirt and unwanted particles. The sebum can also be washed away with too much use, leaving the hair looking dry and dull.

When combing the hair, make sure you have dried it well first. Hair that is still wet has the tendency to break faster, and get more split ends. Use your fingers to remove tangles and massage the head to dry it out better.

Brush the hair gently always, as using unnecessary force while brushing or removing tangles can harm the hair. Make sure that you brush the hair only for a few minutes. This is more than sufficient to stimulate growth. Brushing the hair for too long causes it to become excessively oily.

Oil is the best conditioner for the hair. It should be used at least once a week, as it keeps the hair looking shiny. Avoid leaving oil in the hair for over twenty four hours after application, and do not go out with oiled hair as it has the tendency to attract dust and dirt faster.

For me, the best bet for fast hair growth is combining a capsule each of grapeseed oil and vit E 1000 iu and 3 table spoons of olive oil and mayonnaise. Rub mixture on head every other night for 3 weeks to see good results.
