For a healthy life, it is necessary to distribute the daily diet in accordance with the prescribed daily requirement of nutritional value. Inadequate dietary habits like consuming snacks in breakfast ought to be discouraged.

The breakfast should contain diversified range of quality and fresh foods. Breakfast must be planned in such a way that it should cover 30% of daily nutritional requirements. Consuming a healthy breakfast leads to a better psychological state, boost of energy and increased mental awareness throughout the day.

Physical Activity – Inclusion of various exercises in daily routine motivates and promotes the functioning of organs. The increased level of endorphins leads to a good mood throughout day.

In addition with morning exercises, an individual keen to live a healthy life should also maintain the elevated level of physical activities, regardless of his career requirements. It is must to drink healthy beverages like fresh juices, milk etc several times a day to maintain optimum levels of hydration in body.

Natural Foods – In accordance with the advisories issued by FDA, a person should actively consume fresh fruits and vegetables in routine. Regular consumption of natural foods prevents the deficiency of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and nutrients in body.

Following a mediterranean diet also assists a person in living a healthy and long life. A mediterranean diet restrains consumption of certain foods and beverages that are not considered as beneficial for human health or falls into preserved category. The emphasize of a Mediterranean diet is to promote the consumption of all foods that are provided by Mother Nature.

Mental Strength – It is an undeniable fact that no one can stay on an all-fruit or all-veggie diet for whole life. A person should develop mental strength to restrict the intake of baked or other favorite foodstuff. To satisfy the craving for sweets, consumption of variety of almonds, walnuts, seasonal fruits might help in satisfying the taste buds as well as sweet tooth. Fruit smoothies or desserts are examples of such foods that are high in taste, proteins and calories.
