Treat Bursitis Naturally

Herbal Tea – Prepare a herbal tea by adding some dried mullein leaves to a cup of boiling water. Post preparing herbal tea, dip a clean soft cloth in this tea for about a minute. This cloth should be applied over affected portions to attain instantaneous relief from pain as well as inflammation.
Repeating this method several times during a day paces up the healing process.
Lobelia Herb – Lobelia is widely acknowledged for its tremendous anti-inflammatory properties. This herb is used in various herbal remedies to treat diseases caused by inflammations. It is recommended for individuals suffering from bursitis to massage affected portions with extract of lobelia herb to treat inflammation within a span of three to four weeks.
Apple Cider Vinegar – A blend comprising 2 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar mixed in a cup of warm water should be prepared. This blend should be consumed twice during a day to attain complete relief from pain caused by bursitis.
Ginger – It is advisable for persons suffering from bursitis to include ginger in daily meals. Regular consumption of ginger leads to increased flow of blood in affected portions which further paces up the healing process and being anti-inflammatory in nature, its increased consumption also reduces inflammation.
Castor Seed Oil & Sesame Oil – Massaging the affected portions with castor seed oil is one of the most effective home remedies for bursitis. To gain desired results, regions affected from bursitis should be massaged with pure castor seed oil several times during a day.
Post massaging the affected joints with warm sesame oil, wrap the area with a clean cotton cloth to retain its warmth. This remedy should be exercised at least thrice during a day to reduce swelling within a span of two to three days.
Herbal Bath – Adding few drops of pure lavender essential oil to bath tub prior to taking bath is also a great remedy to treat bursitis. Bathing twice a day with lavender oil mixed water endows with soothing effect and reduces pain.
Physical Activity – It is essential for persons suffering from bursitis to indulge in light stretching exercises to endow joints with flexibility and mobility for early recovery. This should be done regularly to pace up the recovery process.
