Weight Loss With Fruits

We often consider weight loss diets as bland and boring. To make your weight loss diet delectable and colorful, you can consider adding certain fruits in your regular diet.

Fruits are not only good for your health, but certain fruits are known for their fat burning properties. Any weight loss diet should comprise of at least four servings of fruits each day. Diabetics, trying to lose excess weight, should make it a habit to snack on a fruit in between meals.

Grapefruit
Grapefruit is noted for its fat burning property. The grapefruit diet plan is recommended for people trying to shed excess body weight. This fruit is not only low in calorie, but its low sodium content makes it an ideal fruit for people suffering from high blood pressure and edema.

To fight obesity with the help of grapefruit, you should include half grapefruit or 8 ounces of unsweetened grapefruit juice in your breakfast menu. To accelerate weight loss, your lunch and dinner menu should include a glass of grapefruit juice or half grapefruit along with other healthy foods and beverages.

Pineapple
Few juicy slices of pineapple could promote weight loss. Pineapple contains bromelaine, an enzyme known for increasing fat metabolism. Pineapple could even reduce food cravings.

Strawberry
To accelerate weight loss, you can have a cup of strawberries everyday. This low calorie fruit will not only supply your body essential nutrients, but it could also stimulate secretion of hormones that increase metabolism. Strawberries could even reduce food cravings by making you feel full easily. These fruits are beneficial for diabetics. By slowing down starch digestion, strawberries, regulates the blood sugar level in diabetes sufferers. Besides strawberries, other berries such as blueberries and raspberries can also help in weight loss.

Watermelon
Watermelon is a low calorie fruit. Nearly 90 percent of the fruit comprises of water. Including at least one slice of watermelon in your breakfast or having a glass of watermelon juice could reduce food cravings. Watermelon could even augment the detoxification function of your body.

Papaya
Papaya is often included in weight loss diets. The enzymes present in this fruit can increase metabolism of your body. It could boost fat break down.
