What Are The Symptoms Of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic fatigue syndrome is a condition in which all your energy will drain out and you be left with no interest in doing any activities. This tiredness won’t be relieved even if you take sufficient rest. It is more common in women than in men and it affects women mostly in their 40s and 50s.
Causes for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Kids who had trauma in their childhood are prone to develop this disease. Because trauma may leads to neuroendocrine dysfunction in which the interaction between the endocrine system and nervous system won’t work properly.
Certain viral infections or other agents that cause infection, hormonal imbalance, nutritional imbalance, alteration in central nervous system activity etc may also leads to chronic fatigue syndrome. Malnutrition, psychiatric situations, hyper reactive immune system, genetic factors also plays an important role in casing this disease.
Symptoms Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
The most widely known symptom is the extreme fatigue that the patient experiences and it extends for more than six months. Exertion and tension may aggravate this condition. Different people react differently to this disease.
Primary Signs & Symptoms
The patients may have problem in recollecting the most familiar words while writing or speaking. This disease may affect one’s concentration and memory. The patient may not have a refreshing sleep and at times they may have insomnia or may be over sleepy. There may be stiffness in the body in morning hours.
Muscular pain, swelling or tenderness in the lymph node in the neck and armpit area are some other symptoms. There may be pain in the joint and the pain may shift from joints to joints. Some of them have continuous low grade fever, sore throat and chronic cough. They may have severe headache also.
Other Symptoms
Many of them have night sweats, dizziness, jaw pain, earache etc. some patients may be allergic towards certain chemicals, food, odors, medication and even towards noise. Some times they may have nausea, irritable bowl syndrome, diarrhea, dry eyes, unpredictable heartbeat, and breath shortness. Many patients may lose their weight due to this disease.
