What To Avoid For Healthy Skin?

Saturated fats – An increased intake of saturated fats in daily meals is known as a contributory factor towards development of wrinkles and discoloration of skin.

It is advisable for individuals keen to maintain optimum health condition for skin, to avoid or minimize the consumption of eatables rich in saturated fats like pizza, French fries etc. These foods should also be avoided by persons suffering from acne to pace up the rejuvenating process of skin.

Caffeinated Foodstuff & Beverages – Caffeine is widely acknowledged as natural stimulant that on excessive consumption triggers frequent development of acne. It is recommended by several health agenices that an individual should not consume more than 1-2 servings of caffeinated beverages per day.

White Flour Food items – Foods prepared with white flour comprises inferior amount of nutrients in them as compared to food prepared with whole grains. Avoiding or minimizing consumption of white flour products is essential to avert the development of skin inflammation as well as alleviate symptoms associated with skin aging.

Sea foods – Excessive intake of sea foods should also be avoided as iodine present in sea foods liberally releases certain toxic substances in body that are known as triggering agents for acne and skin itching.

Processed Eatables – To retain the natural glow and good health of skin, it is essential to avert canned foods or comprising preservatives as consumption of these foods do not comply with daily nutrient requirements of body hence, encouraging body to fulfill nutrition related requirement by initiating consumption from skin and other organs.

Dairy products – People with known medical history or inherited allergies from dairy merchandise such as milk, cheese or yogurt should avoid intake at all costs as the most allergies result in damaging skin tissues that leads to frequent development of certain skin disorders and ailments.

Red Meat – Several studies conducted in concerned field indicates that excessive intake of red meat reduces body’s efficiency to detoxify which results in accumulation of toxins in skin pores.  It is recommended to limit the consumption of red meat for a maximum of three to four servings per week.

Alcoholism & Smoking – It is evident that people who excessively consume alcohol or smoke a lot are more prone to develop skin aging in association with higher risks of  certain cardiac ailments and cancerous diseases
