Black heads are another form of blemishes. The excess oil, dirt, dead skin, etc. makes up a pimple; when these pimples have their ‘mouths’/ tops exposed and the pus, inside the pimple, turns dark, it is known as Blackheads. It’s quite embarrassing for an individual to have blackheads.

How To Remove Blackhead Pits

For some people, it is a very common thing, because they have it recurring now and then. If the process, and the removal itself, are not properly done, it leaves the face with scars and marks, which may stay for a very long time. If you have Blackheads, first time or recurring, and happened to stumble upon this article, hope that the following instructions will help you be free of the blackheads and lead a more confident and beautiful life.

Firstly, let’s set some boundaries as to what you should not do, to prevent or worsen the blackheads. Of course, you would be tempted to squeeze or pop the blackheads, but ignore this temptation.

Doing this, or any other kind of ‘mishandling’ the blackhead, may impair the area of your face for the bad. Try to avoid ultraviolet lights; it makes the blackheads lose their upper layer and as a result may scar the face, without even mishandling it. Also, avoid direct sunlight on the face. Wash your face with a mild cleanser once a day; it is recommended that you do this after you return home at night, or before turning in for the day. Now let’s concentrate on a few ways we can cure/ remove the blackheads.

Wash your face

Remedy 1

Epsom salt can be used to loosen the blackhead skin, so that it is easy to remove. Take ½ a cup of boiling water; mix in it, 3 iodine drops, and 1 tsp of Epsom salt. After the mixture cools off, dip a cotton cloth in it and apply on the blackheads.

Green tea makes its name in almost any healthy routine; this is no exception. In 1/3 of a cup of boiling water, dip a green tea bag.Let the tea mix with the water properly, and then let the solution cool. In a separate bowl, bring together 2 tbsp of sugar and one tspn of green tea (you may also add a little of lemon juice). Massage this solution on the face, and then wash off with warm water. As green tea is high in antioxidants, it is advised to drink it everyday, to improve skin health.

Remedy 3

Cut a small to medium-sized apple in slices and put in a bowl. Now mix in that bowl ½ a cup of warm (boiled) milk. Now place this solution in a blender and mix it, to make a paste.Apply this very paste on your face, and leave it for about 30 minutes or so. As apple also has antioxidants, it helps in removing the oil and dirt from the blackheads.

After 30 minutes, wash off the mixture from your face (preferably with the help of refined water). Other than these, there are various other natural remedies too (application of steam, for example), to help you remove blackheads. For actually removing the blackheads, you need to apply scrub gently on the blackheads and rinse. So, go on and be blackhead-free.
