It would be an understatement to say that ‘baldness’ is acceptable, although, people say it is a fashion statement today. But, all said and done, this condition needs getting used to because hair does reflect a man’s personality. While you may want to hide your hair loss, dealing with the problem would definitely be the best approach.
Eat a healthy diet
Hair, like any other part of the body, requires adequate supply of nutrients to grow effectively. So, eating a balanced diet containing vegetables, fruits and lean meat, can provided the much needed nutrients the prevent hair loss. In addition, foods rich in biotin which include eggs and cereals stimulate hair growth and prevent further hair loss. Also, you can take supplements containing nutrients such as vitamin B-12, niacin, and vitamin A and E, which improve the elasticity of your hair and prevent breakage.
Gentle brushing and massage
Regular massage of the scalp improves blood flow, providing nutrition to vital hair follicles. In addition, massage helps clear the pores and hair follicles. You must brush your hair gently so that your hair root is not damaged. Apply warm coconut oil or Castor oil for massaging; this can boost hair growth.
It has been proven that stress has a direct effect on hair growth; people with higher levels of stress tend to lose hair faster. So, obviously avoiding stress is essential. But this is difficult to achieve. If you sleep well and exercise regularly you can automatically reduce your stress levels. You can also try aromatherapy or listen to your favorite music to calm your nerves and reduce stress. Yoga is by far the most effective way to reduce stress. Orange, banana, whole meal bread and porridge can effectively help you to reduce stress.
When oil, dirt, dead skin and other waste clog the hair follicles, your hair growth is inhibited. On the other hand, excessive washing of the hair can deplete the scalp of natural oils that keep your hair and scalp healthy. So, washing your hair at least three times a week will keep your hair and scalp adequately healthy. Always use gentle, organic shampoos that do not contain harsh chemicals.
