Repeat the process, as many times you want, to get relief from the pain and itchiness. Cornstarch has another property too; it has the capability to heal the already opened blisters and sores.

Bathing in oatmeal (in the same way as Cornstarch) will also relieve the body and you of the itchiness of the Shingles. You may create a mask, of the oatmeal, and apply on the face and scalp to get relief from the regional itchiness.

Aloe Vera is an herb that is responsible for the cure of a good number of diseases and conditions. It is no different with Shingles. Soak a soft cloth in Aloe Vera solution, or buy an over the counter Aloe Vera medication, and apply on the shingles. This will help in soothing the itchiness and also speed up the healing process of the Shingles.
White Vinegar For The Itch Of Shingles
Soak a washcloth in white vinegar and apply the same over the shingles. Keep the washcloth on the affected area for around 10 minutes. After this time span, you can either wash off the place with cold water, or let the vinegar dry on the spot.
