Causes of hair loss

Inadequate nutrition and lack of vitamins: Individuals who prefer fast food and junk food to nutritious food generally experience hair loss. Lack of vitamin B6 also results in hair loss. And those deficient in folic acid often become completely bald.

Stress, prolonged illness, unclean conditions: Hair loss can also be possible due to worry, anxiety and sudden shock, general debility caused by severe or long standing illnesses like typhoid, syphilis, chronic cold, influenza, and anemia. Similarly, hair loss is also seen when the scalp remains unclean resulting in weakening of hair roots due to blocking of pores with the collected dirt. Hair loss could also be genetic problem.

Hair Loss Remedies

Here are some suggestions for natural remedies to hair loss:

Treatment for hair loss by massaging: Massaging the scalp after washing the hair with cold water prevents hair loss. Massaging activates the sebaceous glands and increase the blood circulation in the affected area, making the hair grow healthy.

Treatment for hair loss using lettuce: Hair loss can also be prevented by using lettuce. A mixture of lettuce and spinach juice helps the growth of hair if taken to the extent to half a liter a day. This is one of the best home remedies for hair loss.

Aromatherapy: According to aroma therapists, blend six drops each of lavender and bay essential oils in a base of four ounces of either almond, soybean or sesame oil. Massage this mixture oil on the scalp for about 20 minutes everyday to prevent hair loss.

Hair Loss home remedies using amaranth: Another valuable remedy for hair loss is amaranth. Applying the fresh leafy juice of amaranth to the hair not only nourishes it but also makes it soft.

Hair Loss treatment using Alfalfa: Mix equal quantities of alfalfa, carrot and lettuce juice. Take it daily to experience better growth of hair.

Hair Loss treatment using margosa: Margosa leaves are effective to prevent excessive hair loss and stabilize its blackness. Margosa leaves also kill lice and other infesting insects and make the hair longer. This is one of the effective cure for hair loss .

Rosemary and sage: Take rosemary, sage, peach leaf, nettle and burdock and boil well. Then separate the loose herbs from the liquid and use the liquid to wash the hair daily. This is the good herbal remedies for hair loss.

Jojoba Oil: Those susceptible to seborrhea, eczema, psoriasis, or dandruff can consider using jojoba oil that is great for hypoallergenic skin. Jojoba oil not only promotes hair growth and controls dandruff but is also a great moisturizer and mimics the scalp's own sebum. Mexicans and southwestern Native American nations have been using jojoba oil traditionally for centuries.

Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera also promotes healthy hair and prevents hair loss. Aloes help in balancing the pH level of the scalp while cleansing the pores. Aloe Vera has largely been used by Native Americans, Indians and many in the Caribbean for care of hair. Prepare a mixture of Aloe Vera gel with a small amount of wheat gram oil and coconut milk and use it as a shampoo to experience effective result. This is one of the effective natural remedies for hair loss.

Henna: Henna is termed as a natural conditioner and is helpful in maintenance of healthy hair. Traditional an Indian herb, henna effectively helps in healing the hair shaft by repairing and sealing the cuticle and protecting the hair against breakage and loss of shine. Another effective measure for hair care is mixture of sixty grams of henna leaves and 250 ml of mustard oil. Boil the mixture well and then filter the oil using a cloth and store it. Massage the scalp regularly with this oil to grow abundant hair. This is one of the effective home remedies for hair loss.
