Homemade mouthwash
Mouthwash not only leaves clean, fresh taste but also prevents bad breath, buildup of plaque and fight cavities. The variety of mouthwash available in the market normally claims to improve the health of gums, kill germs, etc. but some of them can be harmful. The dentists too agree that most mouthwashes just don’t wash and their overuse may lead to altered taste, tooth staining, drying of oral tissues in the mouth, burning sensation and even mouth ulcers. In this case, you will be confused what to do and what not to do. So it’s better to avoid using such mouthwash and go for the natural ones which you can make at home.
How to use mouthwash properly
Take a proper amount of liquid into your mouth and swish it around with as much force as possible using the tongue, lips, and sucking action of the cheeks. Meanwhile, your lips should be closed and the teeth slightly apart. Swish the liquid for at least 30 seconds to one minute equally in front and sides of the mouth.
