2. Go for easy cleansing

It is much better to adopt easy cleansing methods instead of intensive cleansing routine to maintain the skin balance as well as keep the lipids intact. Always use cleansers which help retaining essential oil of the skin. Avoid using cleansers containing alcohol as ingredient because alcohol usually removes the oil and leaves the skin parched and desiccated.

3. Use good moisturizer

Your skin changes strangely in winter. People having oily skin experience their skin becoming normal, while those with normal skin feel dryness in their skin. And people with dry skin start behaving like sensitive skin causing irritation. Hence, it is recommended to use heavier moisturizing products in winter with ingredients like jelly, silicon and almond oil.

4. Apply moisturizer timely

When you are going outside, apply moisturizer at least half an hour before so that your skin can absorb it well. This becomes more necessary when your moisturizer contains adequate water content.

5. Don’t use peel products daily

It’s recommended not to use peel products on daily basis because they can weaken your skin’s defensive barriers and may even lead to eruptions. Hence, use peel products not more than 2-3 times a week. This is one of the effective skincare treatment.

6. Sunscreen

It’s not wise to bid adieu to your sunscreen when winter arrives because ultraviolet rays can still damage your skin. So, always apply a sunscreen with at least an SPF of 15 or more.

9. Humidify

Due to central heating system during winter, whether you are at home or in office, you dryness in the environment continuously makes you uncomfortable. Vitamins also help in nurturing your skin, so consume foods rich in vitamins. There are vitamins like B, C and E which prominently makes the skin healthy.
